Avocado Smoothie

A creamy and refreshing avocado smoothie that’s packed with nutrients and ideal for breakfast or as a post-workout refreshment.

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Start by slicing the avocado in half. Be cautious with that knife! Remove the pit and scoop the creamy flesh into your blender.
  2. Peel the banana and chop it into chunks for easy blending.
  3. Toss the avocado and banana into the blender. Add the fresh spinach next.
  4. Add in your almond milk. If you prefer a thicker consistency, start with half a cup and increase gradually if needed.
  5. Drizzle in the honey. If you’re feeling adventurous, add a pinch of cinnamon for an extra flavor kick.
  6. Pop the lid on your blender and mix it all together at high speed until it’s beautifully smooth.
  7. Give your smoothie a taste. Need it sweeter? Just add a tad more honey.
  8. Pour your luscious avocado smoothie into a glass or a bowl, and top it with some chia seeds, sliced almonds, or a sprinkle of granola for that perfect crunch.
