Waffle Fry BBQ Pork Bowls

A crunchy and flavorful feast with waffle fries topped with tender pulled pork, zesty BBQ sauce, crunchy coleslaw, and gooey cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • Pulled Pork
  • Waffle Fries
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Coleslaw
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Green Onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the package directions for the waffle fries (usually around 425°F or 220°C).
  2. Spread the frozen waffle fries evenly on a baking sheet and pop them in the oven.
  3. Bake until they’re golden brown and crispy, about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. If using pre-cooked pulled pork, place it in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or BBQ sauce to keep it moist.
  5. Stir occasionally until heated through or prepare pulled pork from scratch.
  6. In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage and carrots with your choice of dressing.
  7. Toss until well coated and let it sit for 10 minutes in the fridge.
  8. Once the waffle fries are cooked, layer them in a bowl.
  9. Spoon the warmed pulled pork on top of the fries and drizzle with BBQ sauce.
  10. Add coleslaw, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions on top. Voilà!

Notes

Serve with extra BBQ sauce for dipping and pickle or jalapeño on the side for an optional kick.
