Crunchy Bulgogi Fries

A delightful fusion of crispy fries topped with savory Korean bulgogi beef, bringing together nostalgia and flavor.

Ingredients

  • French Fries (Frozen or homemade)
  • Bulgogi Beef (Thinly sliced)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Brown Sugar
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Sesame Oil
  • Green Onions (Chopped, for garnish)
  • Sesame Seeds (Toasted, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and sesame oil in a bowl. Add the thinly sliced beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare Your Fries: Bake or fry frozen fries according to package directions, or slice Russett potatoes, soak, and fry or bake.
  3. Cook the Beef: In a skillet, cook the marinated beef over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Assemble: On a platter, arrange crispy fries and layer the cooked bulgogi beef over them.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds, and drizzle with sesame oil if desired.

Notes

For a spicy kick, mix gochujang into the marinade. For a cheesy variation, top with melted cheese before garnishing.
