Crunchy Chicken Bacon Ranch Chopped Salad

A hearty and satisfying salad combining crunchy vegetables, savory bacon, diced chicken, and creamy ranch dressing.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by rinsing and chopping all vegetables.
  2. Cook the chicken (if not pre-cooked) until golden and cooked through.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  4. Combine the chopped romaine, diced chicken, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced cucumber in a bowl.
  5. Add the crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced red onion.
  6. Dress the salad with ranch dressing, starting with half and adjusting to taste.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.

Notes

Store any leftover salad in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, keeping the dressing separate until serving.
