Cowboy Butter Sausage Pasta

A flavorful and comforting pasta dish featuring savory sausage and rich cowboy butter, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • Spicy Italian sausage (or turkey/vegan sausage)
  • Pasta (penne, fusilli, spaghetti, or gluten-free)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Sauté the sausage in a skillet with olive oil until browned, about 7-8 minutes.
  3. Add melted butter, garlic, parsley, and lemon juice to the skillet.
  4. Combine the drained pasta with the sausage and cowboy butter, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Taste and adjust with salt, pepper, or more lemon juice.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using compound butter or stirring in more vegetables. Serve garnished with extra parsley and Parmesan cheese.
