Creamy Cucumber Salad

A vibrant and crunchy cucumber salad bathed in a luscious sour cream dressing with fresh dill and a hint of lemon juice.

  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cucumbers by washing them, slicing lengthwise, and scooping out the seeds. Slice into thin half-moons.
  2. Make the creamy dressing by combining sour cream, dill, and lemon juice in a bowl and whisking until smooth.
  3. Combine the sliced cucumbers with the dressing and gently toss until well coated.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  5. Plate the salad in a serving bowl and garnish with dill before serving.

Notes

To enhance crunchiness, sprinkle salt on cucumbers before mixing with the dressing. Add a splash of vinegar for tang, or incorporate other vegetables for a variation.
