Ingredients

  • Mac and Cheese (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 Egg
  • Breadcrumbs (plain, seasoned, or panko)

Instructions

  1. Prep your station by gathering all your ingredients and tools.
  2. Mix the cold mac and cheese with the egg in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into small, flat patties about 2 inches in diameter.
  4. Coat each fritter with breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain excess oil and serve.

Notes

Serve with zesty dipping sauce like spicy mayo or garlic aioli. Make sure to use cold mac and cheese for best results.
