Sweet and Simple Peach Dumplings

A nostalgic dessert featuring juicy peaches wrapped in flaky crescent rolls, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of crescent rolls
  • 23 fresh peaches or 1 can of peaches
  • 1 can of Mountain Dew, 7UP, or Fresca soda
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the peaches by washing and slicing fresh peaches into wedges or draining canned peaches.
  3. Open the can of crescent rolls and lay out the triangles.
  4. Place a few peach slices on the wide end of each triangle and roll them up tightly.
  5. Arrange the rolled dumplings in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in the sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Pour the sauce evenly over the dumplings.
  8. Carefully pour the soda around the dumplings.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until they are golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a delightful contrast.
