Crockpot Green Chile Chicken

A warm and flavorful dish of chicken slow-cooked with zesty green chiles and spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 2 cans (4 oz each) diced green chiles
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare your crockpot.
  2. Place the chicken in the crockpot.
  3. Add the diced green chiles.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth.
  5. Season it up with cumin and garlic powder.
  6. Cook on low for 6–8 hours, or on high for 3–4 hours.
  7. Shred the chicken with two forks.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  9. Serve it up in bowls.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding lime juice before serving. This dish can be made in advance and stores well in the fridge.
