High Protein Smoothie

A delicious and vibrant high protein smoothie that’s perfect for energizing your morning routine.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup nonfat or low-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop (about 30 grams) vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut or almond butter
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 4 to 6 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Pour the almond milk into your blender.
  2. Add the banana.
  3. Scoop in the Greek yogurt.
  4. Protein powder is next!
  5. Add the peanut or almond butter.
  6. Toss in the frozen mixed berries.
  7. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  8. Spice it up with ground cinnamon if using.
  9. Toss in the ice cubes and blend until smooth.
  10. Pour into your favorite glass and savor!
