Biscuit Buffalo Chicken Casserole

A cozy and crunchy twist on classic buffalo chicken, this casserole features a creamy filling topped with fluffy biscuits for a comforting meal.

  • 3 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken
  • 1 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 package Frozen Biscuits
  • 2 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Seasoned Breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Fold in about 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Pour your buffalo chicken mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Place the frozen biscuits in an even layer over the chicken mixture.
  6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle some reserved cheddar cheese and seasoned breadcrumbs on top for the last few minutes of baking.
  8. Cool for about 5 minutes, then sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For a spicy kick, use a hotter buffalo sauce or add cayenne. You can substitute with turkey for a healthier option or use Greek yogurt for a lighter cream cheese alternative.
