Cornbread Pizza Supreme

A delightful twist on traditional pizza using a cornbread base, topped with your favorite pizza toppings.

  • 1 package cornbread mix
  • 1 cup water or milk
  • 1 cup pizza toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, olives, etc.)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Pizza sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven as per the instructions on the cornbread mix (usually around 400°F or 200°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish or cast-iron skillet with oil or cooking spray.
  3. Combine the cornbread mix and water or milk in a large mixing bowl. Stir until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into your prepared dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle your desired pizza toppings over the cornbread batter.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the toppings.
  7. Bake according to the cornbread mix package directions (usually around 20-25 minutes) until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm with pizza sauce on top. Perfect as a fun weeknight dinner or for gatherings.
