A crunchy trip into Texas with vibrant Cowboy Butter Taco Nachos that blend flavors and textures for a memorable meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag Corn Tortilla Chips
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Cowboy Butter
  • 2 cups Cheese (shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • Diced tomatoes, avocado, jalapeños, green onions, sour cream, fresh cilantro for toppings

Instructions

  1. Prep the Cowboy Butter: In a small saucepan, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter over low heat. Add in 2-3 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and a pinch of chili flakes. Simmer gently for 5-7 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 pound of ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and a dash of chili powder. Cook until browned, breaking it up into smaller pieces (about 7-10 minutes).
  3. Assemble the Nachos: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On a large baking sheet, spread a generous layer of corn tortilla chips. Evenly distribute the seasoned ground beef over the chips. Drizzle with your Cowboy Butter and sprinkle your cheese blend.
  4. Bake to Perfection: Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melt-in-your-mouth gooey and the edges of the chips start to get golden.
  5. Top it Off: Carefully remove from the oven and pile on your toppings starting with diced tomatoes and jalapeños, followed by sour cream, avocado, green onions, and cilantro.
  6. Dig In: Plate your masterpiece or let everyone dive right in with the whole baking sheet.
