Chicken Nugget Parmesan Casserole

A comforting and nostalgic casserole combining crispy chicken nuggets, rich marinara sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese—a dish loved by all ages!

  • 24 oz. Frozen Chicken Nuggets
  • 3 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • Fresh Basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roast the chicken nuggets in a single layer on a baking sheet for 15–20 minutes or until crispy.
  3. Prep the marinara sauce by heating it in a medium saucepan over medium heat for about 5–10 minutes.
  4. Layer half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, then add half of the crispy chicken nuggets, followed by 1 cup of shredded mozzarella.
  5. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over, layer with the rest of the chicken nuggets, and top with the remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving and enjoy!

Notes

If using homemade nuggets, ensure they are crispy enough to hold up in the casserole. Customize with ingredients like spicy sausage for an extra kick!
