Garlic Bread Philly Cheesesteak Bake

A crunchy twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, this bake combines garlic bread and a savory steak filling for a comforting meal.

  • 1 loaf Garlic Bread
  • 1 pound Steak (Ribeye or Sirloin)
  • 2 Bell Peppers (assorted colors)
  • 1 large Onion
  • 8 ounces Cheese (Provolone or Cheez Whiz)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the steak in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Cook the vegetables in the same skillet until softened.
  4. Combine the steak with the vegetables in the skillet and cook for another minute.
  5. Prepare your garlic bread by cutting it in half or into slices.
  6. Assemble the bake by placing the filling on the garlic bread and topping with cheese.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, sprinkle panko breadcrumbs over the cheese before baking.
