Crunchy Korean Ground Beef Bowls

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 cups steamed broccoli

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions (about 15 minutes).
  2. Prepare the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a medium bowl and whisk until sugar dissolves.
  3. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Add the soy sauce mixture to the beef and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Steam the broccoli for about 3-4 minutes until vibrant and tender-crisp.
  6. Assemble the bowls by layering rice, ground beef, and broccoli.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds, sriracha, cilantro, or green onions as desired.
