Pretzel Bacon Ranch Mac

  • 300g elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 slices of crispy bacon
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente (about 7-8 minutes). Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy (about 5-7 minutes). Crumble into pieces after draining.
  3. Make the cheese sauce by combining milk and heavy cream over medium heat and whisking in cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. Mix in the ranch seasoning and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Combine the drained pasta with the cheese sauce and crumbled bacon until well coated.
  6. Prepare the dish by transferring it to a baking dish, top with crushed pretzels, and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

Notes
