Pretzel Cheeseburger Casserole

A delicious comfort dish combining the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the crunch of pretzels in a cheesy casserole.

  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic powder, salt, pepper, and diced tomatoes; let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Prep the pretzel topping by crushing the pretzels into breadcrumbs.
  5. Combine the beef mixture with crushed pretzels, cheese (reserve some for topping), and mustard in a large bowl.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 casserole dish and top with remaining cheese and pretzel crumbs.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
