Parmesan Tomato Dumpling Bake

A comforting and crunchy dish featuring dumplings baked in a luscious tomato sauce topped with gooey Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • Frozen Dumplings
  • Fresh Tomatoes
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the minced garlic in a splash of olive oil over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add chopped fresh tomatoes or canned tomatoes to the skillet.
  4. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Mix in the frozen dumplings, ensuring they’re coated with the sauce.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Top generously with grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
