Protein Pecan Turtle Cheesecake

A delicious and protein-packed twist on classic turtle cheesecake featuring Greek yogurt, light cream cheese, and crunchy pecans.

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt or cottage cheese
  • 1 cup light cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla preferred)
  • 1/2 cup sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or alternative)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or caramel drizzle (for topping)
  • Seasonal flavor ingredients (pumpkin puree, lemon zest, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a springform pan.
  2. Combine Greek yogurt, light cream cheese, and protein powder in a mixing bowl and blend until smooth.
  3. Add your sweetener and any seasonal flavor ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped pecans gently to maintain texture.
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared springform pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Cool gradually with the oven door cracked for 15 minutes, then chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  8. Drizzle melted chocolate chips and caramel over the cheesecake before serving.

Notes

Use a sharp knife to cut clean slices, and consider adding a dollop of whipped cream or Greek yogurt for serving.
