Spring Detox Green Smoothie

A vibrant and refreshing green smoothie packed with nutrients to help you recharge this spring.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups water (filtered or coconut water)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 handful fresh parsley
  • 1/2 of a large cucumber
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 inch fresh ginger (can leave the peel on)
  • 1.5 ripe bananas (frozen)
  • 1 large handful ice

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by washing your greens and cucumber, and chopping the cucumber into smaller chunks.
  2. Combine water or coconut water with lemon juice in your blender.
  3. Toss in the parsley and spinach, blending them well.
  4. Add the cucumber chunks and piece of ginger into the mixture.
  5. Sweeten the mixture by drizzling in honey.
  6. Add frozen bananas to contribute creaminess to the smoothie.
  7. Throw in your ice cubes for that refreshing chill factor.
  8. Blend until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency, adjusting with more water if necessary.
  9. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as desired.
  10. Serve and enjoy the vibrant green flavors!
