Strawberry Vodka Slush

A refreshing Strawberry Vodka Slush perfect for any occasion, blending nostalgic strawberries with a delightful twist of vodka.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound strawberries, hulled and frozen
  • 1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed, about 4 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1 cup seltzer water
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 ounces extra vodka (optional)
  • 2 lime slices (for garnish)
  • 2 fresh strawberries (for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Strawberries: Measure out your frozen strawberries or prepare fresh ones and freeze them.
  2. Squeeze Those Lemons: Juice your lemons until you have a cup, straining out any seeds.
  3. Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, vodka, and ice. Blend until slushy.
  4. Add the Sparkle: Pour in the seltzer water and blend briefly to mix.
  5. Taste and Adjust: Sample the slush and add more sugar or lemon as needed.
  6. Serve It Up: Pour into glasses, filling three-quarters full.
  7. Garnish: Top with whipped cream, a lime slice, and a fresh strawberry.

Notes

For a thicker slush, add more frozen strawberries. If making ahead, blend all except seltzer and store in the freezer until ready to serve.
