Summer Fruit Salad

A vibrant and refreshing summer fruit salad bursting with sweet stone fruits and berries, perfect for picnics and summer gatherings.

  • 46 cups sliced stone fruit of choice (cherries, peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines, etc.)
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 cups blackberries
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your fruit: Wash all the stone fruits and berries thoroughly. Pat them dry with a clean towel and slice the stone fruits into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix the bowl: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced stone fruits with the blueberries and blackberries. Toss gently to distribute the fruits evenly.
  3. Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Dress the salad: Drizzle the dressing over the fruit and gently toss everything to coat it evenly.
  5. Add fresh herbs: Sprinkle the chopped fresh thyme on top and give it one last gentle toss.
  6. Chill: Let the salad chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes
