Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups watermelon chunks (seedless or de-seeded, roughly chopped)
  • 1 pinch salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the watermelons by cutting them in half, into quarters, removing the rind, and chopping the flesh into roughly one-inch cubes.
  2. Blend the watermelon chunks in a blender on high for 30-60 seconds until liquefied.
  3. Strain (optional) the blended watermelon juice through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher.
  4. Add a pinch of salt to the juice and stir well.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes if not cold enough, and serve garnished with a mint sprig or a slice of watermelon.

Notes

Try adding fresh mint in the blender for an extra refreshing twist! Store any leftover juice in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
