Refreshing Watermelon Slushie

A frosty, fruity delight perfect for summer that captures the sweetness of watermelon and a hint of lime.

  • 10 cups seedless watermelon cubes (frozen for at least 24 hours)
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Juice of 1 large lime
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint or basil leaves (loosely packed, optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups filtered water

Instructions

  1. Grab your frozen watermelon cubes from the freezer.
  2. Combine the frozen watermelon cubes, maple syrup, lime juice, and fresh herbs in a high-powered blender.
  3. Pour in the filtered water.
  4. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds to a minute.
  5. Taste and adjust the sweetness or lime if desired.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with a sprig of mint or basil.
